Description

The Qualsafe Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (CERAD) qualification, delivered in Manchester, North West, has been designed to meet high speed driver training regulations and allows ambulance service drivers to claim exemptions under the Road Traffic Act.

Through theory and practical sessions, the Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (CERAD) qualification gives learners the knowledge and skills to drive an ambulance routinely and respond to incidents in a range of environments under emergency and non-emergency conditions. Intended Audience

People who are employed by, or contracted to a CQC Registered Ambulance Service (NHS Trust, Independent or Voluntary Aid Society) with the required authorisation to undergo training in emergency response ambulance driving.

Entry Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must have held a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months
Must meet Group 2 DVLA medical standards
Must be working for a CQC Registered Ambulance Service
