Excellent tuition from Lee Mellor on my 2 day RPL course. Lee is very knowledgeable, very experienced and a great instructor - we all learned a lot and felt prepared for the exams! Can highly recommend! Cheers, Ambutech!
I've been looking into different companies for a while to do a frec 3 course and i chose ambutech in Manchester and honestly if anyone looking for a place to do this course I can honestly say look no further! It's spot on. Has everything you need. But for me the instructor Lee was spot on and he delivered the course along with his knowledge and experience in such an easy way to understand and to take in. Also there was no pressure on us to not fail because it was taught so well we all learnt it easy enough! On that note thanks ambutech and instructor Lee as I've just received my certificate when I only did the course last week.
I did the FREC4 training course with Ambutech and I can't recommend it highly enough. I have done training with various different providers and the quality varies massively but Ambutech is right up there as a thorough company delivering hands on courses from a place of experience and an uncompromising level of quality.
Did my FREC 3 with ambutech not so long back, fantastic people and facilities. Lee was a great teacher who was more than willing to give up his personal time to help everybody out and explain things in more detail when we had questions. He was also good craic and got everybody involved. Highly recommended for anyone looking to do any of the pre-hospital care courses.

Absolutely fantastic facility for learning, the FREC3 course is well structured and interactive. The course instructor was fantastic, engaging, helpful and we all had a laugh during the class. Will definitely be back again!

I recently completed FREC 3 and Administering emergency medical gasses with Ambutech. The trainers were friendly, engaging and knowledgeable throughout. The training facility is a pleasant place to learn, windows providing natural light. A full range of the equipment we were being trained to use was available. Scenarios were engaging and good feedback was given throughout.
I recently attended a FREC3 refresher course at Ambutech Pre-hospital Care. The teaching was first class - current paramedic with plenty of anecdotal examples to bring the subject to life, great training facilities and good overall customer care all made for an excellent experience. I'd recommend Ambutech and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Recently completed my FREC3 course at Ambutech. Absolutely fantastic teaching, utilising a variety of practical teaching resources such as simulated patients, dummies and hand on learning with equipment. The theory is taught in a very engaging manner utilising real world examples from the educators background. The administrative side is great as well, replying very fast and in a friendly manner to any concerns or questions I had. Whilst my contact with members of staff outside of the above was limited, they were very supportive and made an effort to come and speak to myself and the group I was training with. The facilities are well kept and very clean. Cannot recommend them enough !
Just finished my FREC3 course this week , and I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the course very much learned a lot from the week and has boost my confidence a hell of a lot. Highly recommend to anyone wanting too do this course. It is highly worth the money , friendly staff made too feel welcome and comfortable within the environment, helpful if you need anything and open too questions you may have lovely people. Also , Thank you Too Lee who was my Tutor for the week definitely helped me a lot with the learning process and too always go with my gut instinct made it really interesting and fun at the same time. 🙂
I had the pleasure of training with Ambutech Pre-Hospital Care for both a BLS refresher, and my Emergency Medical Gases. A clean and welcoming learning environment, with a structured and comprehensive syllabus, taught by instructors who are beyond knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful, with a great deal of real world experience, within the pre-hospital care field. For me it was a 9hr round trip that I will be making time and time again for any further refresher and pre-hospital courses. I cannot recommend training with this company enough. You are guaranteed a good experience from the moment first communication is established all the way through, and past receiving your certificates. Thank you, Laura and team.
I recently completed the Level 4 Award in Out of Hospital Adult Immediate Life Support (ILS) with Ambutech in Manchester. This is the first time I used Ambutech and it most certainly won't be the last either. With great value for money, the location was superb and the facilities new, which enabled structured learning. The equipment available was state-of-the-art, and the instructor (Tracy) consistently demonstrated a depth of knoweldge, skills and experience, which further enhanced the student's learning. Highly recommend Ambutech to anyone!!
I renewed my FREC 3 certificate with the team at Ambutech, progressing on to complete FREC 4, and the level 3 Certificate in Education and Training. The team have an unparalleled level of practical experience meaning the level of training delivered is second to none. The company assisted greatly in utilising my Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) from military service, no easy feat! Most providers will claim to accept ELC, but Ambutech left no stone unturned, ensuring I was utilising them effectively and efficiently. A special thanks to Laura Austin for the post course support, and dealing with many a stupid question! I would fully and unreservedly recommend Ambutech for any educational and medical course. I make this recommendation especially to service leavers, but also to those wishing to enhance their medical and educational qualifications through a well established, professional outfit. Thank you!
Fantastic training centre and tutors with absolutely everything you need to complete your course. I recently completed my FREC level 3 course here and the way the course was delivered with the resources used and scenarios was amazing. I’d recommend this company to anyone wanting to gain medical qualifications as the tutors know their stuff, work in the industry and the scenarios used are as close to real life as possible. Amazing experience and can’t wait to come back to do my FREC level 4. Big thanks to all the staff at ambutech!
Fantastic course for children. All staff welcoming, friendly and attentive . Relaxed environment that encourages the children. All children should attend this course to give them confidence around first aid and emergencies. I can not wait till my daughter can attend the next level. Thank you for providing these courses! Really well planned, really engaging for younger children, and you kept their attention for the full hour, which for such a young audience is no easy task! My girls really got so much out of it, not just the confidence to know what to do in an emergency, but confidence in themselves, and they had fun!! Thank you!
Just completed FREC 3 with Ambutech. The staff were all lovely and very supportive, and I didn't feel intimidated at all as the youngest person there, which was a big relief for me. They balanced practical learning with theory well, so we were all able to keep focus and properly understand the content. The facilities were amazing, all of the equipment was a very high standard. I had a great time, and will definitely be returning if I decide to do FREC 4!
What could I say great course wouldn't cut it the knowledge base is phenomenal very friendly people and they push you to pass well worth it

I have just completed a 3 day course with Ambu-Tech, it was a fantastic course run by people who are actively on the front line and are far more knowledgeable due to this. The use of technology on the teaching of the course was brilliant, everything felt up to date and relevant to the way in which we live and work.
