The Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Medical Gases is a one day course held at our Manchester training centre. This course is ideal for those providing treatment to patients who need medical gases administrating in pre-hospital care environments, such as: those working in the police force, fire service or private ambulance sector.

During this 1 day medical gasses course in Manchester, learners will develop the necessary knowledge and skills needed for the safe, prompt and effective administration of emergency oxygen and analgesic agents, including Entonox/Nitronox.

Syllabus

Administration of oxygen in an emergency
Administration of a 50:50 mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen in an emergency

Intended Audience

Those who have a responsibility for providing treatment to patients who need medical gases administrating in pre-hospital care environments.

Entry Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must have completed a Level 3 First Aid at Work, Level 3 First Response Emergency Care or equivalent qualification.
