Description

The Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (BLS) is a half day course held at our Manchester training centre. This course is ideal for those who are qualified in providing first aid or first response and are looking to refresh or develop their existing skills. It is also ideal for anyone who wishes to learn basic life support skills for adults, children and infants.

During this half day BLS course in Manchester, learners will be given the opportunity to practise essential basic life support procedures, including: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, recovery position, CPR and choking. Syllabus

Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally.

Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally.

Be able to recognise and assist a casualty who is choking.

Intended Audience

First aiders and first responders looking to refresh or develop their existing skills and anyone who wishes to learn basic life support skills for adults, children and infants.
