Combined First Aid at Work & Paediatric First Aid

£225.00 (£270.00 inc. vat)

Description

The Combined First Aid at Work & Paediatric First Aid course combines the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work and the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid into 3 extended days of classroom learning, this specially designed course provides the skills and knowledge needed to provide both adult and paediatric first aid, whilst minimising the number of training days required to achieve both qualifications.

Delivered at our Manchester training centre, this Ofqual regulated course meets HSE requirements for first aiders working in higher risk environments such as industrial workshops, as well as Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements for those working in an early years setting.

During this 3 day course, learners will develop the knowledge and practical competencies needed to provide effective first aid for adults, children and infants. Topics include: CPR and AED use, choking, stroke, head injuries, fractures, asthma and much more. For a more detailed overview of the topics covered, please download the First Aid at Work Qualification Specification and the Paediatric First Aid Qualification Specification.

If a more comprehensive qualification is required, please refer to our Level 3 First Response Emergency Care qualification.
