Description
The Combined Emergency First Aid at Work & Emergency Paediatric First Aid course Combines the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work and the Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid into 1 extended day of classroom learning, this specially designed course provides the skills and knowledge needed to provide both emergency adult and paediatric first aid. This minimises the number of training days required to achieve both qualifications.
Delivered at our Manchester training centre, this Ofqual regulated course meets HSE requirements for first aiders working in low risk environments such as offices, as well as Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements for those working in an early years setting and wish to be included in the staff to child ratios.
During this 1 day course, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries. For a more detailed overview of the topics covered, please download the Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification Specification and the Emergency Paediatric First Aid Qualification Specification.
If a more comprehensive qualification is required, please refer to our First Aid at Work qualification.
